2) Packing List:

-Clothing

  • Sunsmart clothing, quick dry clothing, comfortable summer clothing (Clothing that can get wet and or dirty)

  • Warm layers/thermal layers (night time and early morning)

  • Clothing that can get wet and or dirty. Quick dry clothing always works great. Comfy clothes for stargazing and sleeping.

  • Two nights in total so consider that when packing clothes

-Sun Protective Wear

  • This should include hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, sun shirts.

-Camping Tent

  • 2-3 person tents are best.  Best for smaller group size management, and best for ease of set up.  Please do not send tents larger than 4 person due to wind and increased behavior issues.

-Sleeping Gear

  • Sleeping bag, sleeping mat, blow up sleeping mat, pillow.

-Flashlight or Headlamp

-Water Bottle (Water available at campground)

-Footwear

  • Hiking shoes, hiking boots, comfy shoes for the campsite.

- Mess Kit

  • camping utensils, bowl/plate.

-Toiletries

  • This should include a toothbrush, toothpaste, medication, and any other specific toiletry items that your child may use in the morning or at night.

* NO ELECTRONICS, Book or Journal optional

*All meals and snacks will be provided during the camping trips. While prepping and preparing meals we will consider specific food allergies like: nut allergies, dairy allergies, and gluten sensitivities.

3) PLEASE PLAN AHEAD FOR EARLY PICKUP ABOUT 1 OR 2 PM ON THURSDAY, JUNE 19TH. KIDS WILL BE READY FOR AN EARLY WEEKEND START AFTER TWO NIGHTS OUT CAMPING.

4) Tent groups to be determined tomorrow while we plan our trip details with the kids. Please feel free to bring camping gear, while keeping a daypack and Lunch and Snacks for the trip there on Tuesday AM.

5) This is our 4th year at this location. Trips have been comfortable, secure and really fun! Do remind your Camper about self-care, safe choices, and treating everyone with respect. We will certainly be reenforcing these points.
