July 1- KDNK/AZYEP for 8-9 students from 1 PM to 3 PM AND  Climbing/Fishing trip to Wolcott

July 2- Bikes and Support Team to Glenwood Canyon by ability level

July 3- Fourth of July Holiday

Dear MTN School family,

We have trips for a mostly older group to Hanging Lake Monday. Will repeat that Tuesday for mostly younger group. We were able to arrange spaces for 22 each day in January this year, and Haley recently asked John Lee to join on Monday as our Geology Expert. Thank you, John, and we will try to arrive at 9AM in two vans.

Teachers, please add Matty Reilly, Wyatt Burch, and Maddy and Emmet Lee to the Monday group.

We have been discussing the "Earn In" concept with students. I will choose the best written and presented trip reports from last week and the coming week and take a group of 8 to represent us on a live KDNK Radio show on Wednesday. Please plan to tune in. So far, Sasha Bogachuk is the only/first member of that Team. We are also working to Teach multiplication facts and times tables to kids, so that counts as "Earn In" too. Blue Team won a close Mitchell Creek Hike/Scavenger Hunt so they earned Jamaican Sodas and french fries... I hid those clues up the trail EARLY and did that hike twice 😂

Bikes on THURSDAY! Safety processes, endurance and steady riding is coming up! We got 12-13 miles ladt week even with the six year olds! Big recognition to Miss Randi who is a great addition to our Teacher Team and a solid bike Coach!

Happy Weekend to all! Brooke and I are off to Red Rocks without kids after several 70 hour work weeks in a row!
