Happy New Year! Ski Day tomorrow 1/3

Dear MTN School family,

I hope the New Year is off to a great start for you all! We are excited about the snow and good weather for our ski day tomorrow. Aaron Abeyta and I will manage the group. The following is a reshare of our gear list and best practices for prepping these guys for a longer day out: (Please be sure to prep gear and skiers tonight so tomorrow feels as organized as possible.)

The MTN School is excited to offer all-day care for families during the Christmas Break. Unfortunately, we cannot take beginners, meaning your child must be able to get on and off the chairlift without assistance.

We will take the kids from 8 am to 5 pm, with morning drop-off and evening pick-up at Sopris Elementary.

Event Date & Time: 8am-5pm December 17th, 2021 (Friday) December 20th, 2021 (Monday) January 3, 2022 (Monday)

Pick up & Drop off Location: Sopris Elementary School Visitor Parking Lot, 1150 Mt Sopris Dr, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601

Activity: Ski/Ride trip to Sunlight Mountain Resort Price: $70 per child.

There are only 6 spots available. Requirement: No Beginners!! Due to the risk involved, we cannot accept beginners. Your child must be able to get on and off the chairlift without assistance and can safely get to the bottom of the hill on their own and without immediate guidance/coaching involved. In the case that your child’s skill level is not sufficient, we will call you and be required to pick them up from Sunlight.

Reminder!! Please send your children with the following supplies for full-day coverage on 11/29. At morning drop-off, you will need to stay while we ensure that all the gear listed below is present before your child is left with us. We will ask to see that you have your day/season pass available, if the pass is not valid your child cannot go. Sunlight Ski Pass (purchased before the date of the trip).
