MTN School Full Days for Winter Break

Dear Families,

Happy Holidays! We hope you are having fun and feeling excited about the new year.

I'm finalizing our daily rosters and getting ready for some long days with the kids. There is space for just a few more kids per day, so please get in touch if you need childcare beginning tomorrow. As a reminder:

Dec 27- Dragon Day (Art/Writing focus, movie, Yurt Trip- bring snow clothes)

Dec 28- Birds of the Roaring Fork Valley (field trips out and about, Yurt trip, Art, Audubon lesson, snow boots)

Dec 29- Ski at Sunlight (bring snow/ski gear, be ready as possible with lift tickets, and familiarity with ski systems)

Jan 3- Grand Junction Trip (Museum of the West and Dinosaur Journey Museum)- We added a second museum but will still try for a short stop at Canyon View Park, so will need some good cold-weather gear.

Jan 4- Lots of younger kids opting to spend the day baking with Ms. Brooke and a good number will ski with Ms. Mary and me.

Please be prepared with snow boots, and snow gear because we expect they will do some sledding between activities. Please bring lunch.

Groups look like 8-10 kids per day.

Please call or text me with questions. (970)989-4238

Respectfully,

Ben
