Monday, June 8 at 8AM

(Dropoff window 8-8:30 AM)

(Pickup window 4:30 to 5:00)

Two Rivers Community School- 195 Center Drive

Meet Teachers, establish text groups to sign students in and out. Icebreakers, Name Games, Personality tests... week 1 is our chance to introduce and make friends while we learn processes that will help us go further later in Summer!

Teacher Team:

Mary Guillory (337) 377-5692 has been a cornerstone of MTN School for five years. Her perspective is wide, inclusive and aware of every kid!

Haley Wilken (215) 620-1488 is a creative, playful new Teacher this year. She has made an immediate impact and the kids love her! We are lucky to have her assertive, responsible skillset on our Team.

Miranda Sheek (Randi) (423) 895-3375 is our newest Team member! She has led our Team on hiking meetings and arranged a great Spring Cave special access with USFS Biologists for the Trapper's Lake camping trip.

Sasha Ellis (208) 597-0326 is a deep well of knowledge, compassion and experience. She is well-known and respected for her work at Sopris Elementary and as a Ski Coach at Sunlight.

Tisha Neuman (970) 948-5725 is a great Teacher and an astute, wise presence on our Team. I have learned a lot from her and look forward to more. We are off to a stormy start at Yellowstone with an intrepid Team. Please call Mary first and Haley while we are away.

Finn Smith is a younger Teacher, but a giant influence for good on our Team and with our "community of learners." He is the Lead Fishing Guide. His Mom, Lora, is the GSES Principal. Let's give him a graduation present and send him to CSU with a MTN School peak experience this Summer!

Brooke Canady (804)380-8760 is our talented, but sometimes reluctant Art Teacher, Controller, State of Colorado Liaison, Vehicle Shuttle partner, Community Relationship-Builder... She is the hardest working, remembers evthg... None of MTN School is possible without her. We celebrated 22 years of marriage last night!

I'm Mr. Ben 😂. Lead Teacher. Lifelong Learner steeped in sense of wonder kid-questions. Giving all I can to build and safely execute a Summer our kids will love and remember. 8 years as a liberated Teacher, Adventure Coach, and mentor to younger Teachers we need to develop for the good of our community and the human, stay human family.

Early Monday Plan:

Meet and greet Teachers with a timed rotation in and spilling out from the TRCS Gym. Teachers have class assignments. We will share and dial in our groups as needed so everyone gets time with all of the unique Teacher voices.
