After the tidal wave of this morning's enrollment and organizational processes, I came back to the reason I love Teaching and working with kids. We've led some amazing, big trips, but it's afternoons like these that hit the spot.
These kids asked to play this Photosynthesis game again. And because it was so much fun, a lot of learning and conversation grew up around us. No phones, no email, no concerns about HW or the pressures of navigating complex childhoods. Just a lot of laughing, goldfish, and imagination.
Soon enough the grind will be behind us and it will be time to focus on Teaching and Learning. Adventure and memory-making. Nature and exploration.
Can't wait for Summer!
