The Mountain School is offering full day coverage on November 21st and 22nd from 8am-5pm! The Mountain School is offering full day coverage for families on both of these dates during Thanksgiving Break!

Pick Up & Drop Off Location: Sopris Elementary School Visitor Parking Lot

Activity: McClure Pass Nature Exploration

• Seasons Changing Discussion

• Nature Mandala Activity

• Pine vs Fur Discussion

• Free Time Exploring

• SnowMan & SnowWomen Team Building if snow is present

• Warm Up at Penny Hot Springs

Activity: Mountain School Olympics at 4 Mile Park

(If the road up to 4 Mile Park is unaccessible on 11/22 we will participate in our olympic games near Veltus Park)

• Highest Rock Stack

• Lily Pad Leap

• Math with Movement: Fur Cone Pile or Rock Pile Estimations

• Prizes, Bragging Rights, and a Special Treats will be awarded!

Reminder!! Please send your children with the following supplies for full day coverage on 11/21 & 11/22. Also we may have some colder temps and even snow on the ground during our McClure Pass Trip. Please be prepared to send your child with warm clothes and extra layers!
