High Alpine Lakes Camping

Close by, but two miles above sea level! Can't wait to get up there with some fun, prepared kids in the early season!
 
Dates:  June 15-17 (Two nights.  Leaving early on Monday the 15th and returning early-midafternoon on Wednesday the 17th.
 
What to bring:  Small tents, sleeping pads, fluffy sleeping bags and extra blanket for cold nights, sun-protective clothing and wide-brimmed hats, water bottles and insulated cups for hot drinks, bowls, plates, utensils, headlamps.
 
MTN School Teachers will pack and cook all meals, but Campers should bring snacks and comfort foods.  
 
Activities:  fishing for Cutthroat and Brook Trout, hiking, landscape sketching, games and free time.
 
This trip is intended for 10 Campers and we will take as many as 20 if needed.  This trip will basecamp at two familiar, established campsites in the Flat Tops.
