MLK Volunteer Day! Monday, 1/19

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” -MLK

Please join us in honoring the great Martin Luther King by spending a day giving back to the community. It is a Philadelphia tradition (says Philly-native Haley) to spend this day off not on vacation, but practicing selflessness for a cause greater than ourselves. It is incredibly important to teach this lesson of empathy to the next generation, and so we’re bringing the tradition to Glenwood!

The organization that we will partner with will be determined at a later date, but it will be something that benefits our local community. We will send out full details as we approach this holiday.

After a morning full of practicing empathy and learning the history of MLK,  we’ll take our great campers sledding and to Azteca as a reward for doing good.
